QA1 Rear Shocks... Single or Double adjustable?

GIZMO, is there any real advantage to running poly LCAs and a rod ended PHB or is that just what you had lying around? Ive got the opposite right now. I also see you are running a short torque arm, LONGBOB, are you running the same?

Your really not that far off. Did you say your putting some gears in it?
My S60 is available. I want to go to a 12 bolt so I can work in the direction of a stock eliminator car. I'd be happy to go over my setup with you. By the way ,I have QA1 single adj. front and rear.

I'm suprised to see no LCA relocation in Gizmo's pic. Are they not allowed, or just not optimal with your ride height, etc?
Also, when is it okay to lose the PHR brace? I see it's gone on Gump. Is there a downside to removing it on a street car?

I have the drag bar at a neutral adjustment and use the air bag and a stiffer passenger spring for pre-load.

I experimented with relocation brackets on my Camaro when I built it. Anything but a level lower control arm causes binding. The hit is often pretty hard, but then the tires unload. It is due to the IC being moved back on the torque arm.
On a drag car you don't make any hard turns so it is not needed. I removed mine when I put the car on a diet.

Binding is not your friend. Over compensating the pre-load on that side with an anti-roll bar or other suspension pieces will cost you ET and MPH. My goal is to have as little pre-load in the suspension components as possible.

I reserve the right to be wrong and can prove it! Hahaha! My stuff works very well and it has come about from a tremendous amount of attention to detail. You wouldn't believe how militant that I am about the cleanliness of my car. I have a lift and I regularly spray Simple Green on the bottom of it then power wash it. That helps me inspect and makes it more pleasurable to work on.
Most of the really eye opening "secrets" that I have stumbled upon have been out of odd mistakes and goof ups. It helps me to stay constantly aware of what is going on good or bad.
That even goes with my driving techniques. How many times have you left the line and looked up at the scoreboard to see your opponents win light on? Well, you just went red and didn't see it as you passed the tree. It is hard for me to see because my car gets up so much.
What do you do when that happens? You have already lost. Do you get pizzed and lift? I know I get a bit pizzed, but I have a couple of seconds to make a decision. Stay pizzed or make the most out of this pass. I don't care how stupid it looks to the crowd, but I will start driving the finish line for practice. And I can say with certainty that it has helped me win some very close races due to practicing in real time.
