I only have 150 miles left before the spec 2 clutch is fully broken it after that I'm gonna take it off the road for a few months. I figured I'd just pull the wheels off and leave it up on jackstands for the winter and cover it. Plan on giving a nice polish the ROH wheels.
What is your choice for fuel tank additive so no water accumulates and do you keep it full? Maybe wrap the brakes and spindles up to minimize rust and any salt spray? Unfortunately my wife's truck takes the garage so it'll be outside this season. What are your tricks? Thanx.

I'd do all what you listed and buy you a couple cheap tarps and wrap it up good to keep out rodents, cars are really nice homes in the winter. Wrap the underside if you have enough.

Usually keep it on jackstands, cleaned up. When the weather allows and the roads are dry, I'll get it out to warm up and burn a little fuel. I keep the fuel doped with Sta-bil, and I have yet to have a problem. Also every couple weeks, I'll throw the batter charger on it, just to make sure its up to par.
I know of a few guys that back the rockers off, to relieve pressure off the valve springs.

drove my freshly painted 87 monte ss through 3 or so winters, people thought it was nuts. With more untreated metal and less galvinized, aluminized plastic pieces than say my trans am, it started to show ever so slightly. Im not worried with dailying the T/A though.

From what I've read, and as said previously in this thread, if you use jack stands then make sure to keep the suspension loaded.
I fill the gas up and throw stabil in, wash the car, vacuum carpet and seats thoroughly, armor all the dash, pull the battery and let it sit on a block in my basement, back rockers off (a first for this season), put it up on wheel dollies, fill tires to max psi, then cover the car with a cheap $20 ebay cover to keep dust off. Then I just have someone help me push the car all the way over in the garage so we can park another car in the garage.. Sometimes I like to put a mouse trap under each dolly... Never had bad problems with mice around my place... Knock on wood...
Sits from around late October to about March. In the spring I just take her off the dollies, remove the cover, and throw the battery in and she starts right up.
