Default 95 Z28 LT1 Camaro

I have a 1995 Z28 Camaro with the LT1 under the hood.. just recently i had drained the radiator to run some clr through the cooling system to clean out my heater core. Once this procedure was done i had a light come on the dash cluster, and it looks like low coolant light.. but i am full of coolant. any one got an idear of what this light is and how to fix it?

the sensor is mounted next to the battery on the back of the radiator that causes this light to come on.It is a common issue with these cars,i had mine do the same thing it would randomly set a low coolant light even if the fluid level was full.I ended up putting a new one in .

Are you positive you "burped" the coolant lines sufficiently, and got ALL the air out of the system?

Yes, after ihave flushed it the first time, i ran water through my cooling system about 6 or 7 times to get all the clr and nasty gummed up antifreeze and gunk out of my lines and heater core. The reason i did all this is because the heater core was clogged up due to mixture of orange and green antifreeze. Now i know that gm uses a specific antifreeze/ orange color sonow that wont happen again.

The question still stands - did you bleed the cooling system (per Rob's guide posted above)? Draining and refilling is not bleeding. Air is the cooling system's worst enemy.

The heater cores on these cars are prone to clogging. It is not because of the coolant you used or mixing them.
