What's the best torque converter 3500 stahl for 95 camaro .
Looking for a good torque converter 3500 stahl for 1995 z28 camaro, I put one in my LT1 1994 corvette and it has been great but I forget who made it ... any ideas?

Edge converters are top-notch. I did a fair amount of research before I plunged into a stall, and it came down to Edge and Yank. I went with Yank.
Whichever you choose, be comfortable with spendig at least $600 on a converter. This is one component you don't want to cheap-out on. If a converter lets go, so does your trans.

Going to be a lot of opinionated responses, but IMO you have ATI, FTI, Circle-D, and Yank in the top spots. Then Vigi, Edge, Midwest who all make great reliable street/mid range stalls that are still great quality but can save you a few bucks. At the bottom you have brands like TCI, B&M, and Monster that are dubious quality at best, and will run hot and inefficient (lower trap, less rwhp, more heat in the trans, etc). Even below those are the generic "no name" restalled stockers. RUN AWAY FROM THOSE. They will kill your trans unless you have multiple large tranny coolers and will kill your rwhp numbers.

PTC is another excellent one.
Be careful getting caught up in just shopping for a "3500 stall".
Among the converters mentioned in this thread, ordering a "3500 stall" from each of them can get you some widely varying true stall rpm and driving characteristics.
When you decide which brand you're going with, talk with them in depth, sharing ALL of your vehicle parameters and intended usage and objectives. And then let them guide you.

Very true! The 3200 now out of business Fuddle I had in my Z was looser then the 3400 Yank in the TA. I bought into the hype back in 05 and got it, but while I had no complaints at the track it was pretty loose for the street and didnt dyno well.

Yes, I had a Pro Torque and loved it, as said, see if the company will do an adjustment at no cost, a 3500 stall Edge might stall out at 4000 where as a 3500 from another manufacture might stall at 3000 depending on your mods. Now remember, there is brake stall and flash stall, which are you looking for?

ok, I thought you were talking about Pro Torque, the first stall I purchased was too big, (my Fault) but the owner sent me another one that was too tight, the third one was perfect, he paid for all of the shipping and even paid for the tranny fluid, he also would send me another converter while I still had the old one, I thought that was excellent customer service..
