Default Should I feel it??

Shouldn't I feel a power increase after putting headers on and dualing it out?? The only difference I feel is it seems to pull a few more rpm on top, that's it. I haven't done any tuning yet, but seems like it should still run faster.

The only way to really know is take it to the track... most *** power meters aren't calibrated well..... You might see a 2-3 mph increase but no better ET cause now traction is becoming the limiting factor.... But you're still making more power and with the combo being more figured out you'll ultiimately run a better ET....

not really what your feeling is right though. with headers and a fulle xhaust you should notice your topend pull is better. thats where they are making the bigest difference for you

My butt-o-meter noticed a big loss of low end, and only slight gain of top end when I was running un-tuned open headers. When I got the y-pipe fabbed and uploaded the tune, I could REALLY feel a difference ALL over the entire rpm range. Get a tune!

A proper tune can net you more power even on a bone-stock engine , not to mention any kind of mods. Don't expect a huge difference but there is room for improvement.

Best way to quantify results is on the dyno...While you're at it go ahead and get a tune done(can't go wrong).

i saw a big difference with my jet-hots, i only had a cai and flowmaster at the time. Huge difference top end, nothing before 4k rpm though.

I got shortys and felt it, but then again long tubes always give on the low end most of the time. You just need ported heads then you will feel the symphony play together.

Seems to me like the mind can play tricks on you. Unless you run back to back without the exhaust and then with it (impossible because of installation), you probably won't be able to notice it because you can't accurately compare it with the last time you ran it before the mods. Like they said, take it to the track with tuning and that'll be your indicator right there.
