Is this worth while Opti-Direct Ignition System for the 93-97 LT1/LT4 or Should you just stick with the Opti-Spark cap and rotor ?. Ive seen so much bad news about the Opti spark and the problems with it .And was wondering why MSD or someone else or more companys didnt offer a fix to this .

not worth the money to me. youre looking at $300 a pop for an opti, or $700 for the delteq kit, then if just one of the 4 coil packs goes bad (which they do) youre looking at $200 just for a coil. and you still have to keep the optical trigger part of an opti that is most prone to failure. MSD now makes a replacement cap, but it isnt the entie optispark unit.
