Ever anything proven on what Cat Back puts down the most power?? People hate on the LM, and I understand its "too much" for some people. BUT when the high flow of the LM roars past their soft spoken ***'s does it really matter? I cant see how any pipe could flow much better. My younger bro has the Borla on his WS6 and that seems great as well. Bang for the buck, how can u beat LM? The only ones beating it out are Borla and GMMG ones that cost twice as much.

GMMG got my vote. I didnt see an option for a B&B. I liked my B&B when I had it on the car, but wanted something louder.

Sounds like *** is a little steep I think, maybe too loud for you, other than that, my car doesnt make any "oddball" noises, just a V8 growl. I just dont see spending $800-$1000 on a cat-back....like someone said earlier...other cat-backs are Loudmouth with a particular muffler. So I guess you want to pay an extra $400, $500 or more for your "Borla" or "GMMG" sound??? Why not buy a LM and put a XR1 Borla in, or a Sweet Thunder Chambered muffler in. I think you are best suited to use whats out there to piece together your own "ideal" system. Am I the only one who thinks that we pay WAY too much for these cat-backs?? Hell, look where Corsa is coming in....arent they high dollar??

Theres about a 3-5 hp difference between mufflers on Lt1's. You cant say a cat back makes more power on every car because they all respond different. I made 314rw threw a 1-in-1-out flowmaster with bolt ons. I opened the car up more with a borla style exhaust and lost 10rwhp......

im running pacesetter LT's to 2.5" duals with an x-pipe and no mufflers dumped at the axle. the car sounds sweet with the LE2.2 cam and its not obnoxiously loud, the sound is very deep and has little interior resonance(sp!) my friends both have LT1's one 383 y-pipe->XR1 dumped and the other has a y-pipe->cutout setup, they had a grin on their faces from ear to ear when they heard me pullup to the garage. best of all is i paid almost $125 for the setup at a local muffler shop, ground clearance is the same as LT's with y-pipe and sounds 10x's better, dont think im ever going back to a catback.
