Ther is tunerpro that is free. I use it, and have had success. Tunercat has a few more parameters than the .ecu file I have for tunerpro. When I was doing a open loop tune I put my wideband in one of the banks to see air fuel of that one bank my check engine light came on for open circuit for that bank o2. Even though I had closed loop disabled, it still threw the light. I have the trila version of tunercat and I bought the DA3 file. I decided to look at it, and I found that I can completely disable the o2's completely. The check engine light did not come on anymore. Tunerpro did have this feature. i saved the bin so if i want to do this again I just reopen it in tunerpro and change what I need and the o2's stay disabled. There are a few other paramters that tunerpro does not have, just compare the two to find out.

I believe LT1 Edit does not work for a 93.

if you have a 93 you have to burn chips for them, you can't simply "flash" a new program on them through a cable. you got the only year that has the older type computer. 94-95 had OBD 1 computers, though 95's had OBD 2 connectors under the dash. 96-97 had OBD 2 computers.
