Default first time pulling motor

this is gonna be my first time pullin the motor out of my 94 z. can i pull it straight out or do i have to take off the intake manifold and heads?

Most people remove the motor from underneath the car.

if you are careful and pull the front accesories, and the radiator off you can get it out the top

Take your time and label connectors and things like that. I would even take pictures so when your putting it back in you're not like, how does that go on again? and then it is a guessing game.

When me and my friends took mine out, we took the intake and heads off just to make things alittle easier and it came out relatively easy. When we put it back in we had the head and intake on and that made things a tight fit.

I don't know why the michiganspeed site says to use the steel cart. I've seen guys just leave the front wheels on and roll the whole assembly around that way. They do have to set the back end on ramps, though, instead of the wheels.
