Default rear end gear

I've heard good things about going to 4:10 gear in the rear end where can i purchase this... or what can i take it out of and is it a really hard task?

If you do not have experience with rear ends I wouldn't touch it....would suck to have all that whine early on. I have gm motive 4.10s and I love them. I know they make some great gears so if I were you I would go with a set of gm motive gears.

do you need to buy the whole rear end? or can you just buy the gears? and if so how much? for both or seperate

Supporting mods=tune, stickier tires. You can just get the gears, they are between 180-250, plus you should get the Ratchet delux kit which replaces a lot of the rear end pieces for an additional 220 about.

can i find a used rearend on here? do they sell em alot? for cheaper? the 12 bolt i think it is? is it worth the $$$

the gears go in the rear diff. And 4.10s RULE!!!!!!! mine dont wine at all.

But why get a new rear end if there is nothing wrong with it...if it isn't broke, don't fix it.
