How much money do you have, Ricks LT1 made 1238rwhp on a 91.5 mm Turbo.

Money is the only thing stopping you pimp, HPE (Home of the world's baddest LT1) has a "Big Boy" engine package. It is a duplicate of Big Ricks setup, minus the turbo but motor wise they offer any CR you want, I think it starts out at like 5k-7k. If you are on a smaller scale budget a built 396 NA you should be able to get 450+rwhp. A good set of heads and a good cam will be necessary.

plus to convert to LS1 base is such a pain and for the money that you will spend to convert you would have already hit your power goal with the LT1

I'm at 472rwhp/424rwtq currently. I am having opti issues above 6500rpm but will probably pick up a few more after this is resolved.

That's pretty much it. 1000+ RWHP, it depends on how much you want to put into it. You can get 600-700rwhp out of an LT1 project.

i made 691 rwhp but that was through a TH400, 4800 stall (non lockup ofcourse), steel driveshaft for drag racing, Moser rear with 4.11 gear, and 28" m/t drag tire at 15 psi of pressure. its easily 850 hp at the motor.

no nitrous, street car 100%
Vortech YSi 383LT1 motor.

nothing special about my motor. in fact, the motor is pretty much a budget buildup!

If gas and emissions are no concern, then the sky is the limits, you need to set your terms, I know you want 600-700 rwhp, but there limiting factors.

Gas
Emissions
Driveability

Most of these things at that power range become a moot point, but I am looking at high 500's through a emission passable setup and a auto with 2500 stall, 3" steel ds and moser 12 bolt

The motor is a Lunati crank/rods, Diamond pistons, N/A 383 w/ AFR 220cc heads and comp solid roller. We've got a few bugs to work out of the setup and we're hoping for around 485-490rwhp when it is all said and done. This is through hooker 1 3/4 longtubes, LT4 intake, and stock computer, 93octane. Building a 500rwhp is definitely possible if you plan ahead and take your time matching the appropriate parts. There's obviously some tricks to building these motors and getting the extra HP as well. If you drove this car, other than the distinct solid roller sound, it idles, cruises, and drives really good. Makes power to 7000rpm and over 400 rwtq at 4000rpm and above.

It has been judged that you should be taken out and whipped with a fuel return line for uttering that silly ricer term! BTW, using the term NAWZ is just IMHO. Nitrous/NoS/oxide/juice = good : NAWZ = bad . Just for that you should be made to watch BOTH TFATF & 2F2F untill you

Besides that I just wanted to use a bunch of smilies

theres no way they can offer a duplicate of his motor for that price. you couldnt even buy a duplicate of his motor used for that much. it would be hard to get the top end for 5-7k

i have a very similar motor to his and it cost well over twice that.

I said it as a joke, but on another note............. You have a qouted line from a ludacris song in your avartar. Wasn't he in 2F2F.

I think you need to be slaped with a NAAAAAAWWWWWWZZZ line.

lol @ 5-7K dollars for a filled-block, solid roller 396 with ported afr 225s and carb style TB manifold!

maybe 5-7K for a "similar" short block with srp pistons, eagle rods, and eagle crank.......
