XR282HR-10 cam in a LT1

XR282HR-10 cam in a LT1 A couple folks have used it before, its not a LT1 specific cam, rather 87+ which should work and I know people have used it. What did you have to do to get it to work, or any 87+ cam in a LT1 for that matter. I believe the dowel is long enough for a vented opti.

Friend of mine did a zz4 cam in his lt1 and he only had to swap dowel pins bc he had a non vented opti which requires the long dowel, or is it short? I forget, but other than that it was money.

Yeah, the vented and non vented have dfferent length pins, think the non being the longer of the two. The 87+ use a cam retainer plate like the LT1s also, so its just dowel pin that sets them apart?
