Default stock lt1 1/4 mile times

hey can you guys post your stock times, or close to stock? some idiots on clubrsx think that lt1's run mid 14's at around 95 and that ls1's low end is way betetr then the lt1. so post your slips.

here is the thread http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=333360

Bone Stock LT1s here in the northeast are not even gonna come close to 13s believe me. My car just broke into the 13s after doing all the mods i listed below. Even with a 355, headers, no cat, intake and a good reaction time i was doing 14s. Not until i put the rest of the mods did i get into the 13s.

with headers, pulley, cold air, exhaust and 4.10s i ran a 12.9

my car stock ran 14.40 @ 97
that was with a 2.3 or 2.4 60 foot.
most i've seen are anywhere from 14.7 to high 13s stock

oh and i hate to say it but i think the ls1 does have more low end torque. it doesnt peak as early as the lt1 but i think it higher no matter what.

what I really know that stock LT1`s should run some where between 13.8-14.4 .

In my own opinion I would consider a problem with the driver or with the vehicle if it runs more than 14.4 .

Thats not all but I am sure with a good driver you can run those lt1`s to high 13`s.

with my stock only air lid ls1 i ran 13.29
added longtubes and ran a best of 12.87@109mph

got to love those ls1`s........

I hate those import cars . guys who own them think they r cool . They always stop next to me at traffic lights and hits the rev and when it come green he kills his car and I am pushing less than 1/2 at the pedale and I still pull them .

anyways ,looks like that non of those guys have written any facts just let them **** off

tyes ls1's have more tq but the lt1's peak torque is lower, it usualy takes an ls1 50-60 to really start to open the gap.

This is actually correct. My white 95 ran 14.6 with a 3" catback as the only mod but it's a lot faster now.

I ran a 14.7 with my completly stock 97z a4 with two cylinders missing, bad MAF sensor ripped tranny mount, and street tires. There was at least 4 Rsx's there that night and the best run was 14.7 as well. The other three could'nt break 15.2's. Keep in mind this is in arizona with 90 degree weather at 9pm!! Actually I raced one on the way to the track and raped the **** out of him 3 times. Those cars are not fast. Oh yea, I had messed up shift points too.

that sucks you bought a factory turd or you can't drive to save your life? only other thing would be a rediculous altittude. because mine ran 14.2 with a horrible clutch and 2.3 60ft. the elevation at are track is around 1700 and the da is usualy around 3000.
