How do my LT1 times look??
I made a trip to Darlington and got a few runs in.And I can say that it is pretty consitant.
1st run:
r/t .070
60' 1.985
1/8 8.649
mph 82.52
1/4 13.41
mph 102.83
2nd run:
r/t .121
60' 1.997
1/8 8.604
mph 82.81
1/4 13.351
mph 103.28
3rd run:
r/t -.043(oh sh-t red light)
60' 2.010
1/8 8.614
mph 83.14
1/4 13.353
mph 103.43
All of my runs were with full weight.I did not remove anything even left the spare tire and jack inside. Also a bag of tools that I took with me,and a full tank of gas.Mods are in sig.

seems to be alright, were you on street tires?
my car with LT's, ORY, through a hooker cat-back, CAI, 58mmTB (with the stock intake open of only 52mm ) and a bluecat tune went:
60:2.03
1/8:8.49
mph:83.4
1/4:13.19
mph:103.3
on a stock stall and 3.23 gear with a set of old bridgestone tires. full weight, 1/2 tank of gas.
I guess your trans-am weighs in a little more than my hardtop formula which could make up for the difference.

I was on 26x10.50-16 ET Streets(only cost me $75 dollars for them with 3 runs on them)on stock chrome TA wheels. My stall is not working the best in the world-it only cost $190 new.I think it is a restalled stock unit.I am thinking about a Fuddle Racing 3500-3800 stall and an underdrive pulley and get my DMH electric cutout on.I would like to see a 8.1x on motor before I spray it with a 100hp shot of N2O.
Do you guys think with those mods and cooler weather I can get a 8.1x out of it?That is if I take a little weight out.

Those times seem slow for your mods. There are alot of full bolt on lt1's in the upper 12's that have stock cam and heads. You should be in the 12's easy with those mods unless it is a lousy track and or the weather is bad. I see you say that you have custom programming. Who did it? That could be your problem.

A good cheap way to get your car tuned properly (besides a dyno tune) would be to get an email tune like Madz28.com or pcmforless.com. Both of these tuners tune many Lt1's with every kind of mod conceivable and know the inns and out of getting great results with various combinations of mods. I have a hunch that the guy who did your programming might not have got something right. Just my opinion.

Some people take care of thier cars, some people don't.
Not saying that for the most part they don't go hand in hand, but there are many variables.
I think a better question would be "How good does your car run?"
