With a tune a stall and Long tubes you could net high 12's low 13's im thinking the mids are holding you back. JMO keep them if you want.

Thats a pretty damn good 60 foot. I would have guessed your ET to be about 100 Mph with those mods. The way your sitting now, unless the motor is tired, I would have expected a 13.5-13.8.

With no internal mods, LT's are not going to offer a drastic improvement, the Pacesetter 1 5/8" Mids are respectable headers.

-Ditch the Edelbrock, or get a Cutout.
-3.73's with a Trans-Go Shift Kit
-52 MM TB. (Port it yourself, info here or you can buy them off Ebay for $200.
-MadZ28 Tune

TB wont yeild much if any, the best thing you can do to an auto is a good converter, I lost .5 with my Vigi 3200 and thats a prety typical gain. I was running consistant 8.5s with a cold air, cat back and Vigi 3200, that was on 17s and Kuhmos. This winter with long tubes on and the new suspension i should be in the 12s prety easily, I ran 13.3 with 2800DA in August.

Yeah me too, I recently saw a few pages in High performance chevy I think? On the front cover was LSXs that ran 7-8's..anyways twoards the back it took a bone stock 94 formula, all they did was put K&N CAI,airfoil, catback. It was running a 14.10 bone stock, after the mods it was running a consitant 13.7.

Then mods should pull more, then again it depends on the weight. Mine stock with just a K&N Air Filter was running 13.89@100. I have a Cam, RR's, LT's, Gears, and tune, and it ran consistant high 12.7's and low 12.8's, till it crapped out..

I didn't see any mention of a tune, asumming that you didnt, with a tune and a good flowing catback and air intake, iv seen 13.7's in the 1/4 with a tune, i would say with your set up and a tune you chould be where you want to be, its all in the tuning,

Get in there and put some good stuff in the Motor. Once you take it out of the Car, everything becomes real easy..

did it run the 13.9 stock or with those parts?
if stock seems like you got a good runner... if it ran that time with the headers, cold air... and other bolts on you got some issues. it should already be running lowe 13s with those.

Yeah it ran that with the mods and the 2.0 60ft the motor is brand new it only has 15k on it? i agree with that something may be up because he used to run at a crappy track with bad altitude and the old 100k motor ran 2 tenths faster should we be looking for something? And we may be getting it tuned very soon. but do you think the drs will help any?

i dont think the drag radial will help much, your 60 are not that bad. but what i'd be conserned with is your mph. i would say that is an easy 3-4 low. if not more.

does the car run fine? doesnt miss or hesitate? what internals did you put in it. did you just have a stock rebuild? does it smoke at all?

i say check all your plugs and wires, and maybe even do a compression check to see if the rings have seated.

yeah this is a friends car before the mods it was trapping 95 ish at the good track and 97 at the bad it runs fine its a new motor. the cat has never been changed in 133k think it might be the cause? do you think a 1.8 1.9 60 is possible

The check engine light keeps coming on and off since the heder install could this be the cause of low traps or do yall have any other suggestions?
