i am running a big head and cam package on my car with a stock bottom end. I have no problems but just have to be careful my car revs hard past 7000 rpm which is no no zone on stock rod bearings. I am not sure about the lift numbers on a GM347 but u should be fine as long as you keep the power under control.

I got the LE3 heads and cam package, it's going in a forged 355 with juice. Hoping for mid 10's on spray. LE heads and cam packages are awsome for the price tag.

The LE2 uses better springs so its worth the extra especially if you wanna run a fairly large cam.

Lloyd told me that the stock piston do not have the valve reliefs to clear the larger valves that are installed on the LE3 heads. Therefore making them a no no on a stock bottom end. Otherwise if the bottom end is rebuilt with piston containing valve reliefs I would assume you would be fine.

ok, makes more sence now. Looks like ill do the le2 heads with the le3 cam. Now dumb question, but you figure $250 for a cam, making the heads $1500. Now would it be better/more power if i bought like a 847 cam and some trick flow heads or something? $1500 for stock casting heads seems a bit steep to me.

The custom cams Lloyd sells are a billet core so they cost a bit more. The Trickflow heads would need to be milled down alot due to the large combustion chambers they come with. Talk with Lloyd if you have any questions.

ok, now thoes packages are with new heads right? I dont send mine to him and he builds mine up. So i could still sell my heads for a couple bucks, making the package yet a little cheaper. If i need to send in mine, thats even more expensive for my heads built up ya know.
