Default fully forged 355

what kind of power could i expect from a fully forged & balanced 355 with an 11.1 cr, le2 h/c, 36lb injectors, 255 lph fp,fel-pro gaskets all around, 1.6 rr, comp cams beehive springs, stock lifters (any recomendations?), p&p intake, as&m 54mm tb, as&m long tubes, true duals out of borla bullets, no cats,... i'm thinking about going with this setup so i can get my car running again in the next six months or so.. is there any way this could get me at 400/400 to the wheels?? and i would also like some advice on what bearing to use...

If built and tuned well I would expect around 415ish/390ish, look at my numbers in sig with a cc306, stage 2 heads, bolt ons and still stock intake manifold and throttle body. Let us know.

with a good head and cam package you shouldnt have a problem getting 420-430 with a 355 lt1. you can get more but thats up to you and how much you want to spend. heads and cam is your biggest factor in making power with these motors as in any others.

another question i have is what would be the limiting factor as far as compression ratio is concerned, i wouldn't really worry about the bottom end but what should iworrry about in the top end if i wanted to go insanely high cr like 13.0 or 14.0? would i even benefit much from it and if i would how so?

i'm using chevite77 h-series bearings and total seal rings. I should be about 11.4:1comp and i'm using LE2 head with 918's. Lloyd told me to hit the numbers i want to using something like the 847 because i'm forged and i can spin to 6500 if i want....and i will. i'm going to a 52mm and using 28.8# Z06 injectors, PS LTs, and dual cut-outs. New melling high volume oil pump, studed mains, ARP head bolts, rod bolts and cam bolts. SA gear double roller chain and CNC motorsports 1.6 rollers.

if you need any part numbers pm me!

If your going to drive your car around more than a weekend warrior I wouldnt make the cr 13.0-14.0. If you plan on driving alot i wouldnt go higher than 12.0.

about three weeks now. I've been working and in school alot right now. I'm a 355 not a 350. Using SRP forged -5cc flat tops. I've spent 2500 on the long block.

I put down 406HP and 395TQ a while back and this is my set-up:

Forged 355 (Eagle Crank, Rods and Pistons - 10.8:1)
Ported Stock Heads (Stock Valve Size)
236/236 .555/.555 lift with 1.6 rockers 112 lobe sep
Stock Intake Manifold
SVO 30lb'ers
Stock Lifters
ARP Rod Bolts and Head Studs
Stock Throttle Body
MAC headers
Test Pipe
SLP Loudmouth
PCM for less tune.
and an Opti that hit been sitting in my garage for a year.

The car regularly sees 6500, my only concern now is that Opti is going south after driving in a storm earlier this year.

I'm hoping to be in the same area as ya'll, here's my setup
355 CI engine-SRP .030 over Pistons-Fly cut
Eagle 6 inch H-Beam rods
Scat 9000 cast crank
Miloden Splayed main caps
Aluminum heads double springs bigger valves flowed 272/207
XE 230/236 cam
1.6 RR
COMP R Lifters
30# SVO's
CIA budget headers and open cutouts
Budget CAI
52MM throttle body
EWP
MSD cap and rotor
Will probably be street tuned by Herron Performance and then after break in, going to Jeff creech for a dyno tune.
