what type of trottle body????

Hey all you lt4 guys I need help. Im trying to find what size trottle body I need to buy for the lt4 setup im getting ready to put on my TA?? Also what brand would be the best ot go with for the money??

My 91 TPI loved the 58MM, moreso after I ported the intake for it. Mines a BBK, and I'll be putting it on my 93 here soon. Only diff I can tell from the 91 and 93 TB is the TPS sensor is round plug instead of square, so different mounting. I'll be changing the wireing harness to the flat 4 enlight of that. Save myself $300 getting a new one.

Match the diameter of the tb with the diameter of the opening in the manifold. Any larger will be wasted, and could cause turbulence. My LT1 has a 52mm opening, not sure on the LT4.

I am going to have to go with this statement. I bought a holley 52mm from a sponsor and immediately had problems with the blades sticking at idle. I read up more and found this was common with them. BBK has had issues in the past with the blades sticking at wide open throttle, not good.

I went back to my stock but polished it up a bit and put a new plate to make it look nice. Thats my opinion.
