LS1 driveshaft advantages?

LS1 driveshaft advantages? I know afew of the advantages, but can you guys that have done it share there thoughts on the swap?
I am thinking about doing it, but don't want to waste my money.

on an M6 they are good for full bolt on power . Once you start getting H/C, strokers settups. Get something better. Mine did'nt last 2 runs down the track

A friend with a 93 t/a swapped in a peice, didnt see a gain at the dyno, nor the track but it was better balanced then the stocker. The dyno can very 1-5 hp between runs so that could have been the gain of the DS. It couldnt hurt since the u-joints are newer.
Yeah you're gonna break that. I would buy a Speed Inc steel shaft or a Denny's custom shaft cuz with M6, you're just asking for trouble. I broke a 3.5" Lingenfelter aluminum shaft with an automatic.

I was going to do the hot cam and rocker setup with bolt ons. I guess I should stick with the steel one for now. I just found a good deal so I was wondering if it was worth it.
I did the swap, it seemed to weigh alot less. Did I notice a performance difference? Not a fair question in my case as I installed the spohn torque arm the same night. I don't think I ever had that shake with my steel one, so I don't know.
How much is a good deal? I spent $100 for mine off ebay.

I got mine for free. Worth it to me. 
(I put a Denny's NR in my 98Z, so I put the 98Z Al shaft in the 94Z)
Would I actually buy one? No, not a stock Al shaft. Money's better spent on something beefier. My Denny's is heavy, but it's one thing I don't worry about breaking with a 6400 RPM launch spraying out of the hole

I can contest, the n2o ready DS is heavy, but with my new LS1, when the Moser goes in, as long as the slip travel is correct I will put that in and just keep the Al ds incase I swap back.

I heard the ls1 shaft was stronger and lighter, the ls1 cars made more power and then GM put a aluminum shaft on vehicles that made more power mod for mod. I don't think its going to just break on you. For $75 you probably can't go wrong.
