4. Chris Sikora - First in the 8s, probabaly be the first in 7s
5. Joe Overton- overall great guy and will not give up on the LT1

7. Madman-the firebird was one of the first low 9 second rides
8. Jason Warren-wheelstands in a nitroused 355 need i say more
9. Tony Shepherd-one of the cleanest LT1's i've ever seen
10. INTMD8-always loved that car.....
I can't put myself on the list but i'd love to..... and the reason would be cuz every time my engine builder has BEGGED me to step up and buy a Dart block and do a nitroused 434 i've politely declined the offer.... might regret it later but I will not give up on the LT1.... so anyone that has ever had a chance to switch and hasn't belongs on this list.....

Some other names left out that list was some old schoolers from Texas are like Joel "molester" Hester and Micah Thompson. Another guy from Austin with the lil' IRS (Internet Racers Supply) 355 with Vortech boost named John _____ (can't remember his last name) also was a ground breaker since no one could figure out how he was running mid 10's with what he had in the car.
Definitely guys I have learned alot from when I first was getting into boost and LT1's.
Whoops, I almost forgot about Brady too. He's definitely another pioneer for the LT1...
And although he's mostly known for building them rather than driving them, Brian (Madman) Jeffries has done alot as well.

John Eaves black 94 Z28, that car came to your side of town via a new owner in 2002, MTI built a 396 for it, car was running its *** off, unfortuantley was stolen and stripped down to a shell. Was clean, new owner had the Fikse FM10s on it also, damn shame.
Edit: I want to add Nick K on my dream team, he had one of the baddest stroker Vettes in Houston, car was hitting 10s in 1997. Making close to 500RWHP with LT4 Head/Intake on a sollid roller street driver 396, also clicked close to 800RWHP on a hidden direct port, all back well before 2000. MTI build some nasty LT1s in their day.

I remember everyone listed. They are all great guys. Some friends, some competitors, some record holders. Many more can be listed. A few that come to mind are Stefan D , Ben Moore, Glenn, Ed Wright, Joel Perez....etc. Lets keep making history with the ol LT1!
Thanks for the recognition!

yeah almost forgot Ben.. He should be on that list just as a record holder right now..... There are a bunch of guys out there that never got recognition for what they did.....
Speaking of Terry I actually got to race him at the first F-body Civil War race down in Bakersfield in like 1998 or 1999..... He had gotten rid of the LT1 and was running an LS1 on spray at the time.... I was running 11.50's at the time with a stock internal LT1 with bolt ons and spray and we ran fender to fender the whole way with me nosing past at the end..... he helped me a ton that day get thru Bakersfield tech..... cool *** dude.... wonder what he's doing nowadays?????
