Default CC306 guys come on in.

List your set ups, numbers and times if possible. Im trying to get an idea of what my car might be putting down now and what it might put down with different combos. Before the cam my car only dynoed 240hp and 280tq with a full bolt on 355 and a small stall...but then i could go out and run 8.5-8.6's all day long with that set up. I know the numbers had to be way off but for some reason my car hates the dyno...

Prior to my current setup I had the cc306 with LE2 heads, Pacesetter LT's... on the stock 350 bottomend. Did not get it to the track, but did however dyno it. Running on the rich side on a mail order tune, it put down 385rwhp and 365rwtq at 6200rpm. It ran very well and am sure it would have creeped pretty colse to that 400rwhp mark with a dyno tune.

Nice! Im currently looking into heads for this upcoming summer. Im not sure if i want to try and do a port job on a set of stock casting or actually buy something aftermarket. As of right now im going to stay away from a dyno until i get the chance to dyno tune it. Im hoping to get high 7's out of it with some sticky tires as it sits. Anyone else have any awsome set ups?

Dynoed 396/370 with the mods listed below, I was still on a stock throttle body and intake manifold at the time which held me back from hitting 400 Just got a 58mm throttle body and ported intake manifold but also now have 17x11 rims with 315 tires, Moser 12 bolt with 33 spine axles, 3.90 gears, Denny's 3 inch steel driveshaft, March underdrive crank pulley and while maxing out the stock injectors made 392/363. No track times yet, it seems I'm cursed with one problem after another but eventually I hope to see mid to high 11's as it sits with some tires of course.

Engine:
Stock rebuilt 350 Lt1
ARD stage 2 ported stock castings
Comp Cams 230/244, .544/.576
Comp Cams 1.6 self aligning roller rockers
Comp Cams 7.200 hardened pushrods
Crane dual springs
Lt4 timing chain
GM oem lifters
Intake:
Moroso cold air intake
Exhaust:
Ceramic coated Hooker offroad 1 3/4 long tube headers
Torque Tech 3 inch X pipe with Dynomax Bullet mufflers
Custom dual 3 inch exhaust ran over the axle and out the back
Ignition:
Dynaspark distributor
Msd 6al
Msd coil
NGK TR55's
Thunderracing OTVC Wires

hit 422 RWHP and 401 RWTQ with the 230/236 duration .544/.555 lift... that cam should give you some good power with the proper setup

Not in a stock 350 though right? You're talking about in your 383 I'm assuming?

lol i was about to say the same thing. I was considering going 383 down the road but i figured i already have a 355 and i really really dont want to pull the motor again and get machine work done. now if for some reason i blow it up it might be a different story.

On my setup. Full P & P heads. 1.60 2.02 valves, CC306. 355c.i. #42 injectors. custom fuel system. msd coil, Tr6 plugs, 6al, msd opti (full unit), optima battery, custom longtubes, full 3 inch exhaust, 58mm TB with port matched intake, 1.6 rr, 1.60 2.02 valves um kinda hard to think of it all off the top of my head. but i put down 424rwhp/ 409rwtq. Got a few other mods that help out. including multiple hours on the dyno. Motor runs really strong. tons of torque. but i also believe my drivetrain loss is completely different and my car is 80% tube chassis. built for 8's. Ran a 10.2 @ 135 before the chassis upgrade. Im sure the trans will go then its all going to a 4 link with a ford 9inch. then a 200 shot of nitrous. haha
