I'd get World's Motown 638ci 900hp out of the crate, and drop a 502 RAMJET intake on it with a wipple, JUST for overkill

As for the options in the list. It really is a toss up between an LT5 (which I know a guy who has one sitting around), toss the twin turbo kit on it, pumped into a 6L80E and get the SLP early 4th ram air hood (since I'll probably need the room). And if it's possible, punch the LT5 out farther!! I hear from the ZR1 site those motors are bullet proof. People have 200K on their CORVETTES heh Of course, if I had an LT5, I'd drive all the time too!!!

Good thread. Shame I missed it all the time till now!

Default Best LSX Motor

GM LSX 2500HP Rated 6-bolt Block 4.125" Bore, Forged Diamond/JE Pistons, Oliver Billet Rods, Callies Magnum 3.625" crank, Clevite H-Series Bearings, ET Ported LS7 Heads, Custom Solid Roller Camshaft, Ported LS7 Intake Manifold, Dry Sump Lubrication, Twin 67-70mm Precision Turbos, Jesel J2K Shaft-Mount Rockers, Morel Solid Roller Lifters, Three-piece Pushrods, 100-160 LBS Injectors , Big Stuff 3 ECU, 8500 Rev limit.

I think with Methanol injection, This motor could be 1000whp daily driven in a camaro/vette m6 with 93 pump gas.

That Engine would be great if it was forced-induction, but it's a pain in the *** to work on..not a whole lot of aftermarket for it either..

i'm thinking lsx block 500ci 10-71 bds w/ all supporting mods.to top it off about 50 percent nitro.

I need to correct my above Motown "want". It's not a Motown block, it's a Merlin, it's also only 632ci not 638. And the 900hp model is the race gas version. The pump gas is 800hp & 750ftlbs. I'd rather have that, than the V12 above It's shorter, less pistons, and is already got a shitload of aftermarket parts! Probably the same price, but nothing sounds like a big block V8

If I'd like to go long and insane, I'd just get two ZZ4's and chain them together for a V16. Like they do for the trailer pull tractors. I dare you to tell me dual LT1 motors wouldn't be cool Or, go ***** out and get 2 twin turbo LT5s and do that. Wouldn't be very cost effective though heh.

Speaking of LT5... I think it's got a big brother still living...

World makes a 481ci, but I'd be surprised if anyone made a SB LSx bigger than them. They even make a 454ci SBC GenI, which is amazing. I guess World lives by the "Go big or go home" saying lol
