Default How do you guys think this sounds?

Started my car for the first time in just over 2 1/2 years, tell me what you think of the sound with open headers just idling and then giving it a little gas.

Can't tell. Loud cars don't turn up well on general consumer microphones Sounds good, but nothing I'd stand driving too long, and I know about loud on the street for too long.

That's just open headers right now. It'll be going through an electronic cut out, and after that a Corsa cat-back system.

BOOM, BOOM BOOM BOOM, BOOM BOOM.

wow, i just had to watch it four more times. thats great.

i can see Formula350's comment, that would get old on the street, but not after like two or three days of tearing it up.

makes me REALLY tempted to put a cut out on my car. big time.

Ya, i've had the corsa on it for a long time, and when it was up and running with the stock 350 and just headers and bolt ons, I got ppl complimenting me all the time. I even have a guy in our local club, whose also on this board, who has many times asked me to sell it to him. I might depending on how it sounds once it's done.

So, on a brand new engine, while the ring seals are getting set, how bad of an issue is there if gas is getting into the oil? If this is usual, how long till i've got a good seal and it stops happening?
