im sure this has been asked But I cant find anything on here relating to my question.
Why do the LSX guys think they are SO much better than us. I mean F-Body is an F-Body right.
Thought we were car guys and gals and gave respect for havin an F-Body. does it really matter if its LTX or LSX? I guess im just tired of all these people givin someone crap because they have an LTX car. Anyone else feel this way?

They think they're the Shht, because they have the best engine that Chevrolet has made.

I dunno. My dad is an LSX guy and Im an LTX guy and he has as much respect and love for LT1's that he does for LSX's. For the money I spent on buying an 8,800 original mile Formula WS6 I could have bought many LS1's but I bought it because of the looks, the sound, the nostalgia, instead of all out speed. I dont understand why some LSX people bash LT1's considering there cars came from ours and we are fellow f-body owners.

Do a search this topic has been beaten to death since 1998. I dislike the crap I get about LT1s, but for the most part any one who gives you **** because they drive a LS1 and you drive an LT1 is a tool bag. With that said though, my next performance vehicle will be an LSx based car. Either a new Camaro or a used C6.

because any moron can mod the ls1, and make it half way fast ... but thats all in the heads ... well most of it. the lt1 takes a better combo to turn good times ... and takes a little more effort to run a good time. not to mention a majority of lt1 owners are usually younger kids, or ricers trying to convert ... and they mod the car the completely wrong way ... you know corvette servo, and flowmaster! it just gives the motor a bad name ... when it really can be quite amazing ... different stokes for different folks.

the lsx guys can talk all the crap they want but our ltx cars sound better then any lsx car anyday of the week!!! lol. And when we try to set up a race with a lsx we automatically have a handicap cause were "junk", lol. And ltx motors are true 350's and not 347 or whatever they are. But you can get 7deg. lsx heads that flow over 400cfm!! DOH!

haha.. I think LSx engines are a better engine no matter how you look at it. More efficient and just newer. LT1's are great and I own one and love it. I've never heard anyone talk bad about my car cause its an LT1... Only gotten compliments... Only person that has ever KINDA gave me a little flack (jokingly) is one of my best friends that has a LS1 T/A.

ls1= ehh to me dont care, i also like to know why i keep up on the freeway with one neck to neck bone stock lt1 vs ss ls1 both 6's curzing 75 i drop it in 4th and im gone im not sure what he puts it in but its happend twice now on the way to work 75- 135ish

I did use to be looked down when I had my LT1, its like the LS1 crowd know its a LT1 and quickly takes it for granted that their LS1 cars are faster...... but not true... friend of mine has a 95z with a procharger, and he has surprised a lot of LS1.... I now own a 1999 trans am and I do feel the LS1 is a superior engine in all aspects.

Sure, we all know it's superior as well, but doesn't mean people have to be an ******* about it. They make it[LT1] out to be a piece of junk, when it's just not the case. And I'd never make fun of a TPI person. I know how good they are, I miss mine!.

thats my point. Why would they wanna bash on us? I mean were still an F-Body, and sorry for makin another post about this but search didnt bring up anything and It seems like anything I read now days someones always makin fun of the LT1. and I would hope an LSX engine is better, 1 its newer technology and 2 no more opti- issues *that i have yet to have **knocks on wood**
