I'm thinking of some springs

Hes got a good point...Im waiting for extra cash to put springs on my car and will be doing shocks at the same time...Im sure alot of folks dont replace the shocks so Im sure it can be done but would save you time down the road.

You'd be better off doing the shocks first and then springs later. The Koni's will give you some drop (.5" or so) and then you can remove the rear spring isolators and use the rubber hose method to drop the rear some. You can also try using V6 springs in the rear if you want.
There are plenty of choices of springs. For the drop you want, look at BMR, SLP, Strano, DMS, and the Pro Kit. And yes, you will need an alignment as well as an adjustable panhard bar to adjust the rear end.
