Default 52mm or 54mm? Which is better for me?

The car is stock except free mods, mildly ported heads, ported intake K&N till i get a CAI, BBK shortys and straight pipe, is it even worth a swap and are the 170$ bored out stockers on Ebay even worth it?

Thanx guys, i am just trying to get close to 300 RWHP on my daily driver.

No, there is not a need for a larger than stock throttle body until a car has boltons and at least a cam, definintely if it is a heads/cam car. Don't waste your money on a bored out stocker, hell if you are stuck on getting one then take yours off and have it bored out... Do not get shorty headers...go with longtubes, get a cai, and a catback system or cutout.

Thanx but i scored shortys for 150 ceramic coated, i got long tubes on the "toy", happy to pick up 15hp and ditch the ugly *** manifolds, my buddy has a BBK trhottlebody on a stock 95 Z4 Z28, is that why he is having idle issues?

Oh ok, it could be. Some aftermarket throttle body blades stick, I've heard BBK and Holley are the ones that usually have the problem. Simply having a larger throttle body on a stock engine shouldn't cause idle problems if it is working correctly. I'm just saying on a stock engine your money could be better spent on modifications that you will actually notice.

You can have mine for $25, I'm pretty sure it's laying in my garage still.

Shipped. Mine is the brand that is held in place by the elbow, not a screw in one. So if that kind is alright for you let me know.
