I like it! I may have to get a can or two when I get my formula at the end of this week. Did you wet sand and polish at all, or are you still waiting to clear them first?

VHT? And if they're just black outs, why are you clear coating them?

Looks very dark, but with lights on, they don't seem that dark. By the way, they look good.

thanks for the comments guys... and to the above, no i didnt wet sand or polish them yet, i want to wet sand them to lighten them up some and work out a few imperfections and hit with another light coat before i clear-coat them. they turned out alot darker than i thought, and i am kind of worried about driving during the day. this was my first experience with night-shades, so i am still in the trial and error stage. this weekend i am doing the CETA mod and blacking out the fog's and front signals... i think it'll look pretty sick. any other suggestions? (btw, the fogs are about to have hid's also, so it doesnt really matter if they are dark)

I have the plastic covers for the tails... i like them better, cause if i get raped by the cops or if like, i suck at painting and eff it up... i can just remove em they look hot as hell

i bought mine off of ebay, but expect LONG shipping time because it cant be sent through air. and the covers were an idea, but i have an ls1 set of tails in case i screwed them up, just figured the lt1 tails would have looked better smoked. plus, some ******* around here would probably ****** the covers from the car. but i think the nite-shades was like 26.00 or 30.00 shipped for two cans. be really careful on the third brake light though, it is REALLY easy to get too dark. i am going to look tomorrow and try to come up with something creative but not tacky to do with LED's in the tails and third brake light... wish me luck! considering GM is on strike, i wont be too busy at work for these next few days (no parts shipping, and no other dealers selling, CANT FIX CARS WITH NO PARTS!!) so i have to keep myself occupied
