Default What cylinders go lean on Lt1's

What cylinders are typically lean on Lt1's? i know on ls1's its #5 and #7. Just wondering if this holds true on Lt1's?

If you still have stock intake #8 will usually be more lean than the rest.

Thank you i just need to know what plugs to watch with nitrous, and yes i am still on the stock intake. Do you know if with the vic jr manifold the distribution problem goes away? Thanks for all the help

It should go away with the Vic intake.

I thought on the lt-1 one bank runs 2-3 percent leaner than the other.

the motors i have seen that have blown have had catastrophic piston failure
on number 8. all were N2O lean-out victoms!

Reason being #8 intake runner is in alignment with the back wall of the intake. That is the only runner that shares the back wall as part of the runner. The air charge hits the back wall of the intake and goes directly into the #8 runner. The other runners are not against any wall and are not helped with any directional charge.

makes sense because I cracked my number 8 ring land when I was running my p1procharger 6-8psi on stock motor. Still made 425whp and 440tq with number 8 down 25%.
