Default How can I get into the 11's?

My best run is a 12.98, 1.96 60 ft at 106 mph on MT DR. 3300 lbs.

Current Set-up:
I have converted the car to functional ram air, have all the suspension mods w a 502 cc, 1.6 rr, tune by pcm4less, LT, 3" exhaust, 3" ORYP, no cat,58mm TB, SVO 36 lb inj, egr and air pump deleted, 3.42 gears.

Mods in process:
Having the tranny rebuilt for racing and installing a 3600 stall. Will also be installing a ported by LLoyd Elliott intake.

How close will I be to 11's and what else should I do to get there?

Why would you port the intake before the heads? lol

You're going to need a good h/c setup to get 11s, or nitrous.

Well I had an extra intake laying around and my heads have a "mild P/P" from the engine rebuilder. Nothing all that speacial. Figured it would still flow better than stock w the ported intake. Is a waste of time to switch it out? Not worth the gains?

well, it can't hurt but the intake doesn't really become a restriction until your heads are ported.

It will take more than a mild port on the heads and a good cam to get 11s.

A good heads/cam set up or some juice will get you in the 11's.
