Ok, ever since i put my headers in i have developed a miss and sputter at low RPMs in overdrive, and at WOT over 4000 RPMs. i have replaced the fuel filter, which was so stopped up i couldnt blow through it. The coil, which was so corroded i dont know how the hell it was working. The plugs and wires have about 5000 miles on them (ACDELCO) and there is no arcing. And its got a new MAF because i dropped the old one and busted it.

Can the knock module be picking up a false knock with my headers and true duals and cause this miss, or should i go buy a new optispark?

yes it could. tbh my buddies lt1 car does exactly that except his knock is in the tranny (m6) we are probably going to try and rrelocate the sensor and see if it helps. its worth a try before having the tranny worked on. hope this helps you

Thanks for the quick reply. guess im gonna take the long 2 hour trek to summit today and get an lt4 knock module

I'd try the LT4 Knock Module if I were you. I had the same sputter/hesitation problems in higher gears at low RPM's. After I got the LT4KM, it never happened again. I think my old KM was picking up false knock from a horrible exhaust leak I have up near the engine.

Mine did this until i desensitized the KM.

Alright, i got a new lt4 knock module and she screams past 6000 RPMs with no sputter and runs smooth at low RPMs.
