So I was trying to find some LT1 t shirts and i sent a pic of one to my friend and hes like too bad its not an lsx t/a....so i call him a bandwagon jumper bcs he ditched his lt1 ws6 for a ls1 ws6. so his comeback is "nah, theres plenty of people on the lt1 bandwagon too." So, please, if any of you know where I can jump on the lt1 bandwagon please let me know ![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
p.s. if you know of any badass lt1 t shirts link them up.

I didnt gig into the lsx enuff to get alot of infromation but I can speek from first hand experience the lt sounds better and feels like it pulls better until about 3k but the ls got much better higway mileage and felt faster up top as well as the interior being much better. the only problem I ever experienced with my lsx was a lifter noise and what I beleive was piston slap. and the only problem i have had with the ltx is the window motor.
the funniest thiong is that the auto lsx got better mileage than the 6speed ltx but both are/ where great cars and lots of fun. I would own both cars again

The debate will go on forever, I am sure. I am a bigger fan of the LTX for the headlights and all. I just think it looks meaner. I like the fact too that the LTX stocks are louder than the LSX stocks. Just my opinion, and I am biased because I have a 95 Z28....

I believe you. I have played with the computer a bit now, so I only get 20 on the express way, but when I played with it for gas mileage, I was getting 28. Need to figure out what I can do to get that 30+ if I go back to Vegas again in the Camaro.

i seem to get the best right around 78-80 mph. Ive never set the cruise higher than that, but it does worse at 70. I think that was about 1850 rpms??? I dont remember... i didnt have my digital tach then and the stock one isnt accurate.
Also im still on the stock tune unless the last guy messed with it.

Sorry guys, i only purchased an LT1 cuz of cash, and if i do again its because of cash and the ability to spend a little more in mods. Otherwise i would go LS1. But i do LOVE both motors!

I will this guy ^^^^
I would rather have an LS1 car but I am still in school and don't have a lot of cash. However, the lt1 is still a good platform with plenty of mods available. Still make great power stock also.
But ls1's are superior. I will own one someday.
I think the lt1 cars do look meaner but the ls1's are pure sex.

i love my LT1 dont get me wrong but i look at it like the LS1 is simply the replacement to the outdated LT1, BUT as we all know any engine can be modified to make more power but i do love my 97 LT1's torque its just more fun stoplight to stoplight to me than my friends 02 LS1's but that being said his car put 30 hp and 15 tq more to the ground than i did. I love my LT1 but if i could afford it i would have a LS1.

I think LT1s will become more desirable as time goes on. Nice ones are far from being a dime-a-dozen already. Right now you can get a nice LS1 for almost the same price of a nice LT1 - so there isnt much of a reason to want one for many buyers. As the LS1 styling becomes dated, i think a lot more people will realize they like the LT1 looks better (with camaros). I hated the LS1 camaro when it first came out
