One more question I have is can 415 rwhp be made on a emissions legal hydrolic roller heads and cam LTX motor with LT`s and all the boltons and M6 tranny?
Maybe AI setup?
AFR eliminator?

but what does it RUN?
I think the poll is showing just how useless the forums can be. The OP has AFRs and is questioning that decision yet AFRs which are a tiny minority of what is used are doing well in the poll. Betting you have a bunch of kids with stock cars voting based on what they read in magzines.

I think what we see is guys throwing GOBS of money at aftermarket castings and porting and not really running any better than someone with ported stock castings.
Have to remeber the LT1 heads is a BIG step up from all the production gen 1 stuff that came before it and that all the aftermarket "lt1" heads are just a converted gen 1 design many of which like the pre-eliminator AFRs are decades old designs. So while they may have been great upgrades on gen 1 motors the LT1 heads is already so much better than that the gen 1 OEM stuff that what is an upgrade for them may not translate into an upgrade for us.
If I needed an aftermarket casting the AI Trickflows are the only one I would consider at this time, the stock castings work just fine though.

Well for one the poll is misleading and falsifying info.
AI DOES NOT MAKE heads, they PORT them. Theres a HUGE difference in porting them and casting them in production.
I agree with 96caprice, the ported stockers are the way to go instead of dropping 1-2k for the heads and then another 1500-2k for the porting, just doesnt makes any sense. I was going to go that way but the pricing was ridiculous after all was said and done so I decided to go with the stockers ported.

Really depends on the motor. Typically unless an all out race setup use a ported stocker on 355 and ported aftermarket on 383+. For aftermarket I would use TFS or AFR head. They are proven and finish well. I'm pretty excited about the RHS heads though, I've got a set on my BBC. On paper they look good, but I haven't run the motor yet.

What the motor is is a good point. Most impressive "LT1" I have ever seen is a donovan aluminum block modified to accept all things LT1, reverse flow cooling, opti, mechaincal WP all of it and run on LT1 injection. Runs deep in the 9s at 4500lbs and uses lightly worked AFR 227s BUT this is a blower 434ci setup with a small shot of nitrous to cool it and when he started building another motor for a friend planned as a mild blower build they went with Advanced Induction 185cc ported GM castings because the guy understands what is working well on a 7200rpm 434ci motor may not be right for a 6500rpm 383 even with a blower and certainly is not right for a NA motor.
