I wish I would have done something like this when I was that age. Drinking beer is probably my biggest talent.

Is there a reason you guys are only running 1/8's? Is the track too short? Keep in mind, I know nothing about drag racing.

To me, eighth mile racing is more fun. It is much closer and easier on parts. The fact that we have so many short tracks close to home doesn't hurt either!

Beer is good too!

Thanks. The boys really worked their butts off yesterday. It takes a ton of work to go rounds in a fuel injected car.

I would take the money and get some t-shirts/team shirts done.....
If you look real hard you can see that Stephen and Jason have T-shirts on that match the logo on the car.

...and buy the boy some new pants with the holes all in his jeans. Thats went out of style a long time ago.
I don't know about that. The young ladies kind of flock to Stephen, so I guess it's working for him!

These guys really have a great chancve at getting some good coverage too with this program, I would take full advantage of that. It could really lead to some positive things in the future.
It would be really cool if someone would take notice of this project and do a feature on the kids.

Veronica actually made a really good video yesterday. I just have to figure out how to get it from the camera to the screen!

The teenagers at our Church tend to sit up front. My wife and I were sitting behind them one Sunday and I asked her if she thought they would like to go drag racing. It kind of grew from there. I think that they had all been to the drag strip at least once.

They have been really good about calling. We live very busy lives and they have been very respectfull of our time.

any future plans of there own?
Right now, I hope that they stick with this for a while. Stephen has a B4C LS1 car that he is working on.
