You could use the SJM kit..

Mike I ran those tires on my car and they would rub under normal driving. I would get the bfh to make some room. Also make sure your rear is centered it will make a difference.

The master cylinder is a Strange/Mopar. I purchased a kit from one of the vendors on here. All of the brake lines were fabricated at home from a roll of GM tubing.

Sweet! I have no prob using a BFG, its the cutting that scares me.

I also think Jakez28 sells a Strange manual master and abs delete kit. You can find him on LTXtech.com

Thanks! But, please don't tell anyone about the restrictors, epoxy, and screens that we used in the lifter valley!

Don't worry, even if I did say something no one would believe me. I'm forever stuck in my 20's and I've never built anything before in my life.

I can't believe you are using them anyway, it's utterly retarded.

We used to do something similar on our stockers in the 80's we also used to "block off" the holes under the camshaft in a SBC to keep the oil from running back right on top of the crank.

It seems to help a little. I prefer the breathers over plugs, because they restrict the return flow without creating any extra bottom end pressure. I'm not sure that it frees up a lot of HP, but every little bit counts!

Yeah, we used to run restrictors in the front and back of the lifter valley, and mess with the return oil flow in the heads. There were alot of little things we'd do hoping they would add up to a few extra horses. Back when I ran we had to run stock springs and on a stick car we'd throw them away after every points meet or national event.

I may drive it a little bit, but mostly we are going to change it to see what it will run with a decent motor.

Any updates to your red firebird/budget build? Think I subscribed to it, but I haven't gotten any email alerts lately.
