great thread. i didn't see anyone ask but i was wonderng about your master cyl setup. i didn't see a booster in the pic. and i assume there is no abs. is that aftermarket? did you guys just fab up those lines into the factory ones or are they all new? i want to get rid of my abs.

We used to do something similar on our stockers in the 80's we also used to "block off" the holes under the camshaft in a SBC to keep the oil from running back right on top of the crank.

Yeah, we used to run restrictors in the front and back of the lifter valley, and mess with the return oil flow in the heads. There were alot of little things we'd do hoping they would add up to a few extra horses. Back when I ran we had to run stock springs and on a stick car we'd throw them away after every points meet or national event.
