Opti bolt broken off in timing cover..

So realigning the opti didnt go as smooth as i thought it would, now im at a stop, i was just wrenching the bolt in not to hard and it broke off
! what is the best way to get it out its inside the hole a couple inches HELP!

bolts only about 1.25 inches long...cant be in there inches...since your there you need to remove the crank hub...break as many of the front pan bolts loose as you can...back to the kmember, carefully stick some screwdrivers in there and pry the pan down...now unbolt the timing cover and remove carefully not to tear the pan gasket...get vice grips romove the broken bolt...get a new one from gm, reinstall the cover then the pan then hub opti crank pullie then wp....
if you tear the pan gasket use a ton of silicone make sure its clean and stick it back in there...spend some time doing that to make sure it seals

i dont really want to take it off. I went to o'reilly and they didnt have easy out but i did get bolt extractor drill bits, will this work? if not i havent opened it and ill get the easy out....

Bite the bullet (which you should have done to begin with) and pull the cover. The bolts never did thread into the timing cover at all, but in the block itself. If you pull the cover, there is a chance that you can just use vice pliers and back it out.
If the bolt is broke off flush with block (and your hardened easy out), your going to have a bad time trying to drill it.
