Default Locked keys in, opend door with no key

Accidently locked keys inside my Z, didnt want to pay lock smith, have a key made, or towing company to open door. I then tried few things to open it. Used a screwdriver handle side to prop window open, then stuck broomstick with a hook inside and pushed unlock button, got inside took 5-10 seconds. Not so sure, i want to leave anything valuble in my Z again, did not realize how easy to get in.

haha... interesting. Well, its harder to pull off when you have the car alarm sounding making you very nervous. Tinted windows keeps prying eyes off your belongings as well.

I wish I could say it was a huge secret, but it's not.
Locksmiths snicker when they get a call to open cars with frameless windows.

I locked mine in the car one night at the bowling alley.
A few local car club members got em out for me (which saved me having to call
the wife at 2am to drive an hour across town to get me my spares)

Besides what people are posting on here, i cant think of any other way. Like " James Montigny" said our cars are frameless windows. Not a whole lot you can do, just have insurance and hope for the best.

Just thought i would make this post to let people be aware of this.

the really bad thing is they don't even have to bring tools to get in. you can use the antenna as a slim jim. i discovered this when i locked my keys in at the carwash. after that i used permanent loctite on it.

Actually, by using a slim-jim, you can get the door open in under 10seconds. I know I did

Common thing I've heard is just make the car less attractive to a thief. Yes, if they want "YOUR" car, this may not be true. Although, just having doors locked and a little red light blinking on the dash would make most would-be thieves move on to an easier car. Park under or close to street/parking lot lights. Tinted windows helps to keep their eyes off your stuff but, if your stupid enough to leave valuables in plain sight then oh well.

Here's some animated funny stuff concerning car alarms :
