Default Ok so I guess I have some $ to put into her again

Ok I have been toying with the idea of getting some more power. I don't drive the car much at all anymore since it is in storage in Houston while I am in college station learning.

I still try and drive it when I get back but that is not too often. This summer I got a nice internship and made some $. I was gonna do the smart thing and save it or put it in a money market account but I figured this might be my last year to blow some money. lol

Here is my current mod list:

slp CAI, 52mm tb, airfoil, tb bypass, all msd ignition, taylor otvc wires, p.s. longtubes ceramic coated with y-pipe, magnaflow cat-back, bmr s.f.c.'s, spohn l.c.a.'s, bmr strut tower brace, ARD stage 2 trans with trans go shift kit and b&m cooler, 3k stock re-stalled converter, G-Force tuned, pullies, ... i think that is it. already have the full aftermarket radio and the y2k vette wheels wrapped in yokohama's

I was thinking throwing some 3.73's with a rear girdle, panhard rod, torque arm.

I was talking with Brian Pavlock though and if the $ permits maybe get some headwork done and a new cam......

suggestions from you guys?

no unfortunately I lack both the tools and knowledge to do it. Maybe if the car was closer and I could just walk to the garage and tinker with it but since it is a city away I figure I would drop it off one weekend and pick it up the next.

I know that will cost me though...

I would say a good shop would charge around 800-1000 bucks to pull the heads and put the cam in. Then you still need a tune plus all the parts. I think total you would have close to 3000 bucks all together to do it right.

I might just do the rear-end suspension with 3.73's installed plus the tuning for the speedo and save to get the heads and cam done right.

full bolt on with suspension stall and gears should be enough fun for a while
