I bought some Elitesparkplug.com wires a while back and they arc'd very bad when the wires were wet. Sparks shooting out everywhere. Replaced them with MSD super conductors and have never had a problem.

Check your plug gap too. A gap larger than OE spec will make it easier for the spark to jump out of the wire.

completely agree....I will never run taylors. if you need to run them over the valve cover just get the msd cut to fit kit.

good thing i read this because i was looking to upgrade my wires here soon and was looking into which ones where the best bang for the buck. I have a stock OE set i bought from kragen installed right now with mid length headers and i have never had a problem with them arcing or melting i checked it in the dark with a load on it and no fireworks display!

Yeah, if I do find out that my brand new and carefully cut to fit wires are junk theres going to be lots of profanities.

Especially when Im picking up a set MTs for this car tomorrow and plan to hit the track sooner rather than later.
