94 camaro 6 speed building a engine for 12s hi guys, i just bought a 94 camaro 6 speed with a blow head gasket, the car has 170xxx miles. i want it to be my daily drive car but i also i want it to run in the 12s, i wnat to keep my a/c adn my 3.42 gears. whta kind of cluth will i need, cam, valve spring, will i be able just to get it .30 over and use the saem rods adn crank, or should a but a eagle kit,

its not hard to put an lt1 in the 12s.bolt-ons and decent cam will get you deep into the 12s. i went with advanced induction's 226/234 cam. i love this thing. and if you buy the kit, it takes out all the guess work. im expecting atleast 12.5 next time i hit the track

I live about an hour south of you on 360. I'll be glad to lend you a hand and help you find parts for it. You should be able to break 12s with just bolt ons on your stock rear/gearing, but you may want to look into a cam depending on how deep you want to go into the 12s. I couldn't agree more with you about the 12s. I was just suggesting the time because you mentioned staying with stock rear/gearing. That will limit your launch unless you like replacing the 10 bolt..LOL Cam only LT1s easily belong in the low 12s and a 12.5 will be an easy feat. Like I mentioned, I'll be glad to give you a hand or help find your needed parts.
