Large duration cam guys in here How big are you going and what kind of numbers are you making? Track and dyno. You can elaborate as much as you wish i.e heads, intakes, and supporting mods. Trying to get an idea of what a current project should make. The cam is 248/252 with some AI heads. TIA
mine is 264/271 it made 451rwhp through a 12 bolt,th400 and a 5200 converter
the 451 rwhp was at only 7000 rpm where the stock computer gave out
I know when the cam was in Steve Quins motor he used to spin it to 8500 and ran 9.7 with it N/A
248/252 sounds like the Joe Overton cam I had before this one and made crap power

it was cam motions also and I was using afr 210 heads that I have now(wish I went afr 227 now)
I make 70 rwhp more with this cam
same everything only the cam change

246/254 .613/.590 112 installed on a 108....ran 11.3 @ 119 NA and 10.4 @ 130 on a 150 shot...dyno'd 390 NA and 500 on the 150.....swapped the LT1 castings for AFR 227's, and made 410 NA, 529 on a 100 shot, and 63x on 200.
My car has never dyno'd well with the Auto....for reference it dyno'd 422/447 with a 222/228 .544/.538 112 with a 6 speed...swapped in the auto and ran 11.6's...swapped in the 246/254 and picked up .3 NA and .5 on the bottle
