Thumbs up The Tick Performance F-Body Adjustable Master Cylinder Bracket Swap-Out Program

Those of you who have purchased an early version of our adjustable master cylinder kit that shipped with a black steel bracket, we know you've been waiting for a while for a firewall seal. We've had problem after problem trying to get a rubber gasket setup hammered out, so we sunk a lot of R&D money into developing a Billet Aluminum bracket that would eliminate the need for any type of gasket. I've been shipping these brackets with the recent kits that have been ordered, and now I've finally got enough in stock to start the swap out program.

We've got a ton invested into each of these billet brackets, but since we advertised a free rubber gasket and we aren't able to deliver, we are running the following program: you send us your old bracket, a copy of your invoice and a $20 check or money order, and we'll send you our new Billet Aluminum, 100% sealed bracket on the same day we receive your old one. We'll do all we can to keep your downtime to a minimum.

Simply ship them back to us at the address on your invoice. No need to include any notes, just a copy of the original invoice will be fine. We'll take care of the rest quickly!

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them here. We've gone over all of our options and we feel as though this is the most efficient way to protect everyone's interests. We want you guys that are bothered by the lack of a firewall seal with the old bracket to be as happy as the guys who aren't bothered by it! This new bracket in no way changes the function of our kit - it just seals to the firewall better than our older version, that's all.

Rock on...will it be okay if I wait a couple months until it warms up enough to NOT **** me off to work out in the cold to rip this thing out and get the bracket off? I just need to know if this is a limited time thing or not so I don't get screwed.

Take as long as you want. As long as you send us a steel bracket we'll send you an aluminum one...theres no limited time offer LOL.

Wow, the firewall...under the hood lol.
The bracket isn't inside the car; it's under the hood on the other side. The new bracket makes it sit flush w/ the firewall so there is no road noise.

I just wanted to say that Tick Performance and Joey will get you guys set up with your new bracket as fast as possible. They sent my new bracket out the same day they received my old one and I already have it here and ready to install. Great customer service as always. The new aluminum bracket is a beautiful piece as well as a better functioning piece for outside noise isolation. Too bad the bracket will not be visible when mounted in the engine compartment.

Joey, thanks as always for your great customer service and awesome parts.

Damn Joey - you guys just keep on out doing yourselves.

I haven't installed mine yet - I'll be sending the bracket back in sometime within the next week or so.

Damn! Talk about a thread revival! I didn't even know this was an option and I dont remember which one came on mine? I'm thinking it was aluminum.... I think I bought it after Junuary 09. Is it safe to assume it came with Aluminum?

it probably did but an easy check look under your brake booster you'll see the aluminum housing along the firewall
