Default I need synchronizers for 02 T/A
I have an 02 Trans Am WS6 and my second gear synchronizer is going bad. They tranny shop I am taking it to said that the set was $250 and he was going to charge me 250 labor. I'm guessing he is jacking up the price on the synch's to make more money. anyone know where I can get a whole set for cheaper?

If he does 2nd speed gear & the syncro that's not a bad price IMO.
Might need a whole rebuild though I'm betting.......

$250 isn't bad for all the syncros and the labor price is about right as well .

$250 for just the synchro assembly? Here are some sites to compare prices, both sponsors:

I believe the $250 is for the syncronizers (all of them) . This is not the slider assemblies .

Alright well if that's a reasonable price I'll probly just go with it. I'm not going to spend all my time to save 5 bucks haha. Thanks guys
