Default cold shifting problem?

So ive been noticing lately that when its cold >40 the shift from 1st to 2nd is a little tricky, it doesnt grind but it kinda feels like its rattles or "pops" into second. If i give it a long pedal and shift sloooowly it is fine. i notice the problem is better once it gets warmer out. The car has a new clutch installed by previous owner and a RAM MC that i installed and bleed in october of this past year. help?

That tends to be due to gear oil in the trans. I had OEM but it had 30k on it and when I put my clutch in I also put in Penzzoil Synchromesh, worked great. Mine had a little grind from 2 to 3 when it was 0-32 degrees

Every t56 I've driven shifts like crap when it's cold, regardless of what fluid is in it. Completely normal.

Royal Purple is not recommended for these transmissions, as per Six Speeds Inc when they were doing good business. Ive heard Redline, Mobile 1 ATF, and Synchromesh as common fluids for the T-56.
