Unhappy will this happen?

ive been told that if i upgrade my clutch...to any clutch other than stock, i will most likely end up blowing my trans....its a bone stock T56 with about 90K and change on it and its seeing the hp and tq numbers that are in my sig....would putting a better, stronger clutch in the car put my trans in serious danger?

thats what i thought when i heard that but i wanted a second opinion from some one that drives one of these things....whats your veiw on putting a C6 Z06 clutch in her?

If anything upgrading the clutch & the HYDRAULICS will help your trans.

would replacing the slave help reduce the pedal sticking to the floor? which one would be a good buy? (clutches are not really my thing)

If your pedal is sticking to the floor you need to buy a master cylinder.
Buy a monster clutch for it and get the premium package so you get a good slave, and then buy a tick adjustable master cylinder. problem solved

Absolutly. There are people with that much power running good hydraulics running stickier clutches than the Z06 clutch such as a monster lvl 3 or higher twin disks and such. They arent reporting problems unless something else lets go like the rear end if they are running the stock 10 bolt But you will be just fine.

It does increase the shock load on the transmission in most cases but the T56 is pretty stout . I'd say you are fine until you start cracking the 600-700 hp range .
