Happy Tick Customer Just installed the new master cylinder over the weekend. Been reading all of the posts and had to try this piece. From what I can tell, it does exactly what Tick says it will do. I installed a Spec 3+ about two years ago and ever since shifting had been notchy and slow. I tried all of the usual remedies with so success. Before the 3+ I had a Spec 3 and before that the stocker. My hydraulics had always worked great until the Spec 3+. They just weren't up to the task for the 3+.
Took the car for a test drive this evening. The notchiness is gone and shfting is smooth. The clutch pedal throw to release is about half of what it used to be. The bottom line--this thing works! Kudos to Tick.
Now I have to learn to shift all over again. Scared the neighbor coming out of the driveway because I wasn't used to the changed release point. Let's just say I was a little jerky.
