1/4" drive ratchet with a 7/16" socket. Put the socket on the bleeder screw first and the put the ratchet on. Open the bleeder and then push in the connector. Then, close the bleeder screw.

The bleeder screw is located just above where the braided line connects to the slave cyl.

I bought a 3/8" breaker bar (small one) at AutoZone to do the bleeding of the slave.

The problem with using a ratchet is that they normally go one direction or the other (tighten or loosen), but not both.

Plus the tranny tunnel clearance getting at the bleeder valve isn't all that great with your average ratchet either...

FWIW.

Think you meant 1/4 inch breaker bar

I use a craftsman 1/4" breaker bar and short 7/16" socket. I'm sure any 1/4" breaker bar will work - its a pain using a ratchet..

No, I meant 3/8". It's not very big tho (it's a relatively short, low profile one).

It's definitely not 1/2", and it's definitely not 1/4"... :p

Still more room with the 1/4"

My 3/8 breaker bar is huge, I have a hard time getting the 1/4" one in there on my car. Sometimes I think of just drilling a hole in the tunnel right neaxt to that thing so I can bleed it while sitting in the car

Believe me, I've had the same thought about drilling a hole. But, I finally found a car related activity that my wife and I can do together!

"OK, pump the pedal in"... "OK, let it out"... "OK, push it in"...
