Ok Guys, time to replace my stocker with a new clutch when my cam goes in, looking to be about 400rwhp. 2002 z/28 M6 baselined at 323.54 hp/346 tq at 5531rpm with a pos crapmaster catback and K&N intake.
now she has coated Hooker Super Comp LT's 1 7/8" primary 3" collectors, 3" hooker ORY, no cats, 3" I pipe into crapmaster, vented functional CF SS hood, smooth bellows, ptb, catch can, msd wires/blaster coils,NGK tr55, and will be getting a Texas speed 233/239R2 112LSA .595/.603 cam thrown in same time as the new clutch with TSP hardened pushrods, Patriot gold duals ti retainers, machined locks etc. Ls7 lifters, ported ls6 oil pump, and ls2 chain.
Trying to get cam and upgraded clutch in before Vengeance comes down to hawaii for some tuning. They are coming next month hopefully.
What clutch would you recommend to allow room for heads in the future as the money for my clutch/install was intended for heads but I'm playing the smart card first and upgrading the clutch.
I am currently looking at a Monster Stage 3 with chromoly flywheel or oz700 textralia, leaning more towards the Monster
Was considering an LS7 but since it only holds 500 crank hp??? that would be a waste of cash once I bolt on ported heads and duals....right?
as soon as I pick 1 I will be ordering it so knowledgeable advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks Guys.
Respectfully,
RiceEaterZ

cool thats what i was thinking, just wondering if anyone has one with decent miles on em' since its a relatively new brand, that's the only reason I was considering an Oz Textralia. Anyone else care to throw in some opinions?
Monster Stage 3 w/chromoly flywheel vs Textralia Oz700 *not the fkin 1,000+ one* vs underdog LS7

well since hardly anyone cared to give some recommendations and I'm on a timeline before my tune, I went with Monster stage 3 premium w/chromoly 15lb flywheel, since it looks stout and of course is built in the USA! it is a direct competitor to the Oz700 textralia that I was looking at and also the Spec Stage 3+ even though that was not on my list of choices. No dice for LS7

thank you Sir, Noted though, I live in hawaii and am not sure of the time change, also, I purchased my monster stg 3 from texas speed, so im guessing they are the holder of my 12 month warranty/the ones who will replace anything. is it a complete parts replacement warranty? This will be installed in the next week or 2 *whenever everything is here* and I am gonna use arp flywheel and pressure plate bolts.

We will warranty your product for the 12 months, if you purchased through any of our dealers and distributors we will take care of you. The warranty covers manufacturers defects in clutches that are used accordingly. Exessive abuse, stupidity, or poor installs are not covered. We will replace the defective parts and pay shipping for our old unit to be shipped back, however, we do not cover labor costs.
