t56 in ls1 GTO?

t56 in ls1 GTO? ok guys i have a fully built t56 out of an 02 trans am and was wondering if this would work in a LS1 GTO i no the ratios are not the same but will everything bolt up. Whats the difference?
Do i just use the GTO bell housing instead of the trans am bell housing?
any help would be great!

ok well i have both setups but the tranny in the gto is haveing problems so since i have this other t56 out of an ls1 ta i was just making sure everything would swap over.
