How will a RAM 910 disk hold up with 700+rwhp and how long?

I have been thinking about going with RAM’s 910 disk cause that’s the strongest clutch they have and I hear its not too bad for daily driving also. I Don’t drive my car everyday just like to take it out for a cruise every other weekend. I will not race this car everyday maybe a couple times a month
How long would this 910 disk with PP and billet flywheel last? I will not have 700+rwhp all the time since I would only make that kind of power with nitrous.
If it isn’t going to last long I will just go with a SPEC stage 5 but I know its not the best clutch for driving on the street.

We have had a 910 VDS setup in our SS for over a year and half now. 700+ rwhp on nitrous 250+ runs between nitrous and all motor. It is not that bad for street driving once you learn how to slip it just right for a good launch with DR's.
I f you have any other questions just give us a call.

I believe the kit for the VDS (complete system) is $799 + shipping from Allan (or Mikey, take your pick
I got mine from Allan ).
The difference between the VDS and the "build it yourself" setup (you can order just the parts - the 910 disk, the pressure plate, and the flywheel) is that the VDS includes a stud kit for the flywheel (mega
), and shims for the flywheel, so as the clutch wears, you can adjust the grab. The studs allow you to slip the pressure plate on very easily (no fumbling for bolts). The difference between the 'build it yourself' parts and the VDS is a little over $100... but the build it yourself doesn't have the studs or shims.
I got the VDS. I love the studs. I don't know how often I'll really "shim" it, but I have them.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
I did have a defective pressure plate when I received it (machining error), and Mike @ Ram took care of my slight problem very quickly... and when we had a second little goof-up, he Next Day Air / Saturday Delivery sent me the part to fix things.

I'm happy with my setup, though I don't have many miles on it yet. I'm using a stock adjustable master right now, but the McLeod is in a box awaiting a day of bench bleeding.![Tongue](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_tongue.gif)

The studs were a pain in the neck for me, because you cant completely remove the bellhousing on a C5. I had to remove the studs and reinstall them after putting the pressure plate on.
Andrew, what was the machining error on your pressure plate?
Summit has the 910 VDS with aluminum flywheel for only $60 more than the steel flywheel, considerably cheaper than anyone else.

When they balanced the ring, they almost drilled through it.
Ram took care of it quick, right after seeing those pics.
