Default Intorducing Diamond Clutch, our all-new adj. master cylinder! & T56 Rebuilds

First of all, Diamond Clutch has been around for over 3 years now. Until now, we have not been trying to promote it due to having too many other things going on. We have been in the LSx world since 2003 and have tried and tested just about everything imaginable, as far as clutches go. Check out the website www.diamondclutch.com
This website is 100% tech, no sales gimmicks, etc...

Intro Promotion for April - 10% off ANY clutch package -or- free shipping
You must call in order to get the special (817)300-6840
Clutches are in stock and ready to go.

As for the Diamond Adjustable Master cylinder, it is still in the prototype phase. We're trying out a few different bore sizes that no one else offers. This master is being machined from scratch so its a truly unique design. It is going to be priced at $279. If you are interested, there is a waiting list already forming with about 10 people so far. I can post some pics of the first prototype later on this evening.

Lastly, I am offering mail order T56 transmission rebuilds, including upgrades that no other shop offers. For example, we offer a 31-spline mainshaft conversion (stronger than the 30-sp Viper shaft). We also offer shaft journal repair. Check out the site http://www.texasdrivetrainperformance.com/t56.html

We are a specialty shop and primarily deal with the above mentioned items. Feel free to do a search for Texas Drivetrain Perrformance, or TDP Clutch, T56 TDP, or just TDP on this site, camaroz28.com or ls2.com for references. You will also find our magazine article for High Performance Pontiac with Google.

Glad you finally made it on LS1Tech Jason.

I've had TDP do a lot of work for me and my friends. He's really good and FAST at what he does. I've had trannys rebuilt, rear ends, and clutch work. I can vouch for TDP, and wont let anyone else touch my drive train.

Let me know about the adjustable clutch master cylinder...I need one asap.

Glad to see Jason back on the forum. He is a stand up guy and knows his stuff. His work is top notch as he left my 10 bolt sounding like new.

I might be hitting you up soon to put together a 12 bolt for me.

Thumbs up

Jason and TDP are a bit of a drive for me but I would do it again in a heart beat. Jason is one of those people that you immediately feel comfortable with. He did a complete update of the clutch system on my TA and I am delighted with the results.

how do your stg 1-3 T56 rebuild kits compare to tick performance's kits? if they are very similar, (if not exactly) i am very impressed with the prices.

Mine are very similar, but my prices do not include new 1-2 & 3-4 synchro assemblies. For a good comparison, just add $280 to my prices (the cost of the 1/2, 3/4 assemblies). The reason that I don't include those synchro assemblies is that it is not always necessary to replace them. Just like any other additional parts, I replace them on a "as needed" basis. I also polish all synchro assemblies on every build to ensure smooth shifting.
As for the Stage 3 build, mine includes a 31-spline mainshaft (stronger than the typical 30-spline Viper shaft). As far as I know, there is no other shop offering this shaft, due to the extensive machine work required. Hope this helps!

I promised a picture and I will post it up here soon as I get it back from the machine shop. The prototype was actually hand-built, and it is being used for measurements for the CNC machining.
